Funny Words Wednesday

Jared is a BIG UTE fan. He is an minority in our neighborhood. My kids love and want to support Jared with the love for the UTES, however, I think pier pressure is getting to them....

Porter:"Dad did you usesta like BYU when you were little?"

Jared: "Yes, then I grew up."

Porter: "Does that mean when I grow up, I wont like the UTES, and like BYU?"

Jared pretended not to hear him after that question. LOL!!!

Jared Trying to look like "Kip" from Napoleon Dynamite. I just think he looks like a Nerdy UTE fan.

Rocker Bottoms

Rocker Bottoms.....

No it's not the newest, or hottest underwear. They are new, but definitely not hot. You might know them as, "Sketchers Shape ups".

Because of my ankle and my brace that I have to wear, I was told by my Doctor, that I needed to start wearing Rocker Bottoms, like Sketcher's Shape-Up Shoe, so my hips and knees don't start getting out of line from wearing a brace. I laughed, he didn't. So Kailey and I headed to the mall. I think the sketchers are UGLY! I couldn't get myself to spend $100 on ugly shoes. Then I found them...They were almost love at first sight and they were only $70 and not nearly as ugly. They had the rocker-bottom sole that was required and that I could live with. YEAH! I bought them! And now I can walk almost normal, and without pain! I found them at the store, Trendhome. They carry a lot of orthopedic shoes and top brands shoes made for comfort at this store! Your favorite store might be American Egale, or Kohles, but mine is Trendhome. Now if AVIA can make a Rocker Bottom Shoe that I can were to church. BTW. as for toning my calves, I still haven't seen a difference in them, they are comfortable, but not really a workout.

Trends: Same thing, new name.

Silly Bands!

Past: They were called "Jelly Bracelets

Natalie just informed me the other day that they aren't "IN" anymore...that was a fast trend!

How about "skinny jeans"? Past: "tapered jeans",

"Beach wave curls"...Past: Perm

Kelsey doesn't believe me that I used to wear Vans. (same name too)!

Today, "Mini Van" Past: "Station Wagon"

And yes, I had to drive one, and Kelsey refuses to drive the family mini van. Nothing has changed there, just the name.

Good 'ol Blogging

So I see I haven't Blogged since last April! WOW!

So little Time, So little Patience, So little space, So Little has really happened!!!!

Just the good ol' Summertime! And the the wonderful beginning of School!

I now have the computer to myself ALL DAY!
