Got this year's "Santa Visit" done. I can cross that one off my list. My kids called him "Not the real Santa, he is just Santa's helper, because the real Santa is home still making toys!" So here is a picture with "Santa's Helper"! (The Fake Santa). Only Natalie and Porter still need to see Santa to be sure to get their wish list in. I think by next year I'll have 3 down, and only 1 left, then my, To Do List..."Visit Santa" will be no more!

That seems like it would be a bitter/sweet feeling. You're kids are getting so grown up. I don't even recognize them anymore.
I never take my kids to visit Santa. We write and mail letters to Santa. We usually see him on Christmas Eve at my mom's so I always figure that counts good enough!
This reminds me of the website I just saw yesterday for the first time: www.sketchysantas.com! It's super funny. My favorite fake Santa was always Grandpa, who said he kept his reindeer at the Ranch House. I love it that we can always find him doodling around in his wood workshop too, or busy making fudge with Grandma at Christmastime.
